Saint Benedict - Our Lady of Montserrat, or simply St. Benedict's Church, is a Catholic church in Stamford, Connecticut, in the Diocese of Bridgeport.
The historic Neo-Tudor church at 1A St. Benedict's Circle was built in 1930 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The architect was Henry F. Ludorf of Hartford, Connecticut.[2]
It was covered in a Multiple Property Submission study of Downtown Stamford Ecclesiastical Complexes.[3]
It is an asymmetrically designed church that contributes interestingly to the streetscape, according to its NRHP nominator, Alan Burnham, an architect.[4]
